Sarah Michelle Doucet

I'm a Louisiana-based digital artist and dark fantasy storyteller, currently studying computer animation at Full Sail University. My work lives where gothic atmosphere meets anime expression — moonlight, stained glass, thorn vines and black roses.

Soaps and Dreams began as a sketchbook world and grew into something with a map. The city of Nocturne, the Aethelgard Academy for the Peculiar, and the girls who carry the Major Arcana all started as characters I drew at 2 a.m. and refused to let go of.

The apothecary is the other half of that world made physical. Every candle, whipped soap and body polish is poured by hand and tied to a card and a character, so the scent tells you which part of the story you're standing in.

Outside the studio I do hair, nails and makeup — the same instinct as character design, just with a living canvas.
